Committees are a great way to network with other business people. Any member in good standing can be on a committee. Committee membership is not limited to the Chamber contact person representing the business but is open to all employees of the business. Join a committee for the networking! Committees meet on a limited basis during the planning and coordination for specific events or functions.

Ambassador Committee
Retail Committee
Mission: To promote the businesses of Waconia downtown and on the Hwy 5 corridor. This group is active in event planning and advertising and is an excellent place to network with other business owners.
The Retail Committee meets once a month.
Tourism Committee
Mission: To develop an overall tourism plan that incorporates marketing strategies in order to increase the economic impact to Waconia.
The Tourism Committee meets 6× per year—every other month.
Business Education Network COMMITTEE
Mission: The Business Education Network (BEN) is a partnership of businesses in the manufacturing and trades industry and Waconia Public Schools that work to provide real-world and hands-on learning experiences relevant to the manufacturing and trades industry.
Special events – The Waconia Chamber of Commerce hosts various events and activities throughout the year to promote the community.
